September Relationships

I moved in with the love of my entire life two months ago. She’s smart, sexy, includes a great love of life and is actually much younger than I’m. Things ‘re going great – thanks for asking – though it’s hard to disregard the large numbers of people, strangers and friends alike, who feel obliged to touch upon our relationship. Normally, that’s not the type of thing that could bother me, but it’s beginning to feel like many people are reading from exactly the same book, making me wonder if maybe there is not another side to the story.
People get for several types of reasons together. Money could be a element in any relationship, nonetheless it seems just a little unfair, not forgetting superficial, to guage people’s motivations on the basis of simple arithmetic. As my girlfriend likes to say: If I was looking for a sugar daddy, I’d have gone for someone a lot richer and better-looking than you.” (Did I mention her great sense of humor ?)
If you think about it, women in their 20s are probably less likely than older women to care about the financial status of their partners. Most of them are in their romantic, idealistic phase. They’re not worrying about things such as long-term security and whether you will be an excellent provider for the kids you may have someday – that comes later. Ladies in their 20s haven’t any problem choosing pizza and taking the subway home. Give ‘em ten years or so, and when they’re still single, they’ll want see your stock portfolio before they consent to a second date.
2. He’s only inside it for the sex.
